The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education Training Authority for the Mining and Minerals Sector. It has since its establishment strategically accelerated the provision and administration of skills development projects and programmes for the Mining and Minerals Sector. Many Historically Disadvantaged Individuals have realized their dreams through these skills development programmes. The Alumni Corner has been created to serve as a port where an impact of what these programmes have done can be reflected on.

South African ABET Development Agency - SAADA
The South African Development Agency (SAADA) was founded in 1995 to offer Adult Basic Education and Training. The idea os starting this programme originated as a result of graduates of ABET from the UNISA certificate course, ABET Diploma and BEd who realised that rural women were systematically sidelined by the government. Many people are unemployed, retrenched and living below the breadline. he collapse of the National Literacy Cooperation (NLC) and its structures has left so many people on the ledge.SAADA was formed with the aim of:
- Eradicating illiteracy in our communities by creating outreach educational programmes
- Training people in new skills and transform the disadvantaged communities into a literate community
- Building linkages and networkds with other literacy and community development organisations

Dionysus
Dionysus offers unique ABET skills programmes that have proved to be extremely effective and successful nationally. These programmes are aimed at Adult learners who have had limited opportunity to acquire communication and numeracy skills through the formal schooling route .
